How do you know if you need a completely NEW WEBSITE?

If your website hasn't been updated in more than a year, it would probably be cheaper to start from scratch.

If your site is fairly new, and just not performing well, you can probably get away with a redesign. I see great looking websites, that don't have basic SEO work done. Often great web designers, are not great web developers. There is a difference.

Your Website does not have to look "Pretty" to perform well! Let me say that another way. Great looking websites do not always perform well.

I see many great looking websites, but the business owner is calling me. Their visitors never fill out "contact" forms, or they never get phone calls. When hiring someone to build your website, you should not focus solely on the aesthetics.

Your website should look professional, but it does not need to be a work of art. Cheap looking websites will not perform well either. Beauty does not equal sales (unless you are a designer selling design services.)

I AM NOT AN ARTIST. I create good looking sites - but I can not create custom graphics / logos etc. I am proficient with my art software - and can create basic effects and gradients, but let me repeat, I AM NOT AN ARTIST.

I also understand the concept of connecting with your visitors on an emotional level. This is what sells. People will buy from you based on emotion - not based on how pretty your website is. If they like you, and your message, if they trust you....they will buy from you.

  • I will build your website for your visitors, NOT GOOGLE!
    If you focus on your visitors, you will focus on content, and you will be REWARDED BY GOOGLE.
  • I will not use a template based website builder
    Template based sites are bloated with unnecessary code. Simply put - Google does not like this.
  • I will put separate titles on each page
    The title should define what the page is about. This is also SEO 101. The title should not be "Home" or "About Us"
  • I will submit a sitemap to Google
    This helps Google to index your website. If your not in Google's index - you will never show up on the Search Engine Results Page.
  • I will install Google Analytics.
    I see alot of websites without analytics. How do you know if your site is performing well, if you don't look at the analytics? I offer a service that will send you monthly easy to read analytics reports, so your websites performance will stay top of mind. To often, after a site is built, business owners get busy, forget about their site. My monthly reports will fix this issue.
  • I will take care of your Google Local Business Listing
    This is a free service by Google, and it can lead to more traffic for you.I can not beleive how many business onwers have not claimed their listing. If you have not, I will take care of it for you.
