Pro AD Insight Privacy Policy

(Notes from Chad Musgrove, Owner, Pro AD Insight are in red)

Information that is gathered from visitors

In common with other websites, log files are stored on the web server saving details such as the visitor's IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit.

I use Google Analytics on my website. It tells me a lot of useful information about what people look at on my site, how they found my website, how many pages they looked at, and whether they filled out a contact form or not. This is very common on most website. It never collects personal information

Cookies may be used to remember visitor preferences when interacting with the website.

This is also very common. I have not coded anything that will automatically place cookies on your computer, but may wish to in the future. That is why this clause is in here.

Where registration is required (for my monthly services), the visitor's email, username, and other billing information will be stored on a server.

Rest assured - your information is stored in a secure Database, on either Go Daddy's Servers (to my knowledge, Go Daddy has never been hacked) or in a database with my merchant services, credit card processing company (also incredibly secure). Any time a website processes or stores credit card data, they have to meet certain federal guidelines on storing that information. By using Go Daddy's servers, I am exceeding these requirements.

How your Information is used

The information is used to enhance the vistor's experience when using the website to display personalised content and possibly advertising. As of 8/28/11, I have no advertising on my website, so cookies from Google are not used.

E-mail addresses will not be sold, rented or leased to 3rd parties.

I will never, ever sell your personal information to anyone.

E-mail may be sent to inform you of news of our services or offers by us or our affiliates.

As of 8/28/11, I do not use any 3rd party affiliates. This refers to sign up lists, and if I use a 3rd party such as Constant Contact, or any other email newsletter in the future. I will probably implement this in the future, but all emails will be sent to visitors that have signed up to receive my newsletters.

If you have subscribed to one of my services or newsletters, you may unsubscribe by following the instructions which are included in e-mail that you receive.

You may be able to block cookies via your browser settings but this may prevent you from access to certain features of the website.

Cookies

Cookies are small digital signature files that are stored by your web browser that allow your preferences to be recorded when visiting the website. Also they may be used to track your return visits to the website.

The only cookies used are from my Google Analytics.

3rd party advertising companies may also use cookies for tracking purposes.
Google Ads
Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads.
Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to visitors based on their visit to sites they visit on the Internet.
Website visitors may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

I do not currently have advertising on my website. I may add some in the future, but as of 8/28/11, I do not advertise on this site.
